Mark Jaroszewicz's (YUR-A-SHEV-ITCH) passions in material arts and math spans over twenty years, and continues to feel as though he is just getting started. Born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, Mark studied ceramics both at high school and at Pewabic Pottery in Detroit, Michigan.

At the Ontario College of Art (now OCAD University), he continued working in ceramics and graduated with Honours from the Glass program in 1993. Mark's travels as a high-end faux painter and muralist throughout Asia and North America challenged and redefined his cultural definitions, broadening his standards of being a Canadian artist.

Mark continues to create forms that connect the user to their current environment while engaging them on multiple sensory levels. His curiosity to explore new boundaries with multiple mediums has also led Mark to communicate his explorations through lectures and workshops. As an international artist living in Toronto, Mark enjoys sharing his perspective of craft's endless potential and new horizons of cultural contribution to Canadians and the world.
